Things you should know about B.Ed Course








B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. This course is usually taken up after pursuing a bachelors' degree in any field either arts or science. The basic eligibility qualification being a UG degree, it can be pursued after Post-graduation too. B.Ed is the degree that qualifies an individual to work as a teacher usually up to high school level, while for higher secondary an M.Ed degree is required.

B.Ed is a course that comprises papers about education and psychology. These subjects enrich the student-teachers to learn about the psychology of the students. Teaching is not about subject knowledge alone. It is also about understanding the psychological, social, and physiological well-being of the students. By understanding this, the student-teachers will be able to become better teachers by handling their students with proper care and concern. This is what B.Ed aims to accomplish.
